If you’re new here, welcome! You’ll soon discover that first birthday celebrations are a huge mega large part of what I do. And I LOVE IT. Every birthday babe that comes into the studio is different in so many ways, but they have one thing in common with each other…. They’ve celebrated 365 days on this earth, and their presence has already made such a difference in the world. That’s pretty special to think about. Just imagine how much each of them is loved, how many changes and development have taken place in such a short amount of time. It’s literally amazing!!
I never know what kind of personality each of these ‘Cake Smashers’ have, but I know one thing for sure…. by the end of the session, I know your babes personality quite well!
All my cake smash sessions are pretty memorable. Each set/theme/backdrop is unique in their own way, but it’s the Birthday Babe that really makes them special. Sometimes a session takes place that becomes extra memorable for me. And that’s what I present to you today.
This Birthday boy blew. me. away. He came in ready to rock. And I mean it. A typical cake smash session usually takes anywhere from 40-60 minutes depending on the little one. Not this guy. Nope. Believe me when I say 25 minutes and DONE. All of it. He blew through his portraits like a champ, he smashed the Cake like a professional, and he quite enjoyed his bubble bath like the little rock star he is. 25 minutes is a whirlwind. I couldn’t even believe it when I looked at my watch and saw the time vs ALL THE PHOTOS we captured!! It’s like he was training for this since birth. lol
I ended up editing and delivering this gallery the same day because there were just way too many golden moments to look at and I was super excited. The collection of images I delivered was behemoth. I like to share quite a lot of images with my clients, but this one was probably overwhelmingly large. lol I truly couldn’t narrow it down!! Every image was so perfect, so cute, so expressive! So into the collection they went and off they were delivered to Mum and Dad.
Here is only a fraction of the goodness that this little man gave us that day.
