I must say it has felt incredible being back at work after so long in lockdown. There wasn’t too much time to gradually ease myself back into things, as once lockdowns and restrictions eased a bit here in Kitchener Waterloo, my email inbox was on fire, the phone was ringing like mad and my calendar definitely got a work out! It’s nice to feel wanted, and it made me proud that so many people view photography as something of importance in documenting important life moments. I will say though, that I am never, ever too busy to fit a precious wee babe in for their newborn photos! It’s such a short window of time to catch all that tiny newness and if it means I can sneak in some baby snuggles too, you betcha my calendar has room! lol
When baby Hebron’s mum called to arrange a newborn session for her baby boy, I was definitely excited to use the part of my brain that’s exclusively for Newborn photography. He was magnificent, perfect and breathtakingly beautiful. He even slept through the whole session, aside from one little snack break. I probably could have photographed him for hours more even! I’m so thrilled with the variety in the gallery I created for him and his beautiful family. They were so lovely, and kind and I do hope I can continue photographing this precious little man all throughout his first year adventures! He will look back at these photos in wonder one day and probably be shocked that he was so tiny.
Mum and Dad are receiving an incredible gallery, and their package also includes a custom newborn album which has been designed and sent to print. I can’t wait to get my hands on it!
Here are a few images from Hebron’s newborn session.
